What's Your Purpose in Blogging?

When I started blogging, my main goal is to earn money through Google Adsense. I try to educate myself on how to make a strong web presence. I had learned about SEO and directory submissions. I had been aware of the Yahoo directory, DMOZ, and other site submissions. At the same time, I happened to fall in the trap of automatic directory submissions that costs me my Adsense earnings. After reaching the minimum payout, I am banned by Google. And the culprit was the automatic directory submission site that I had used.

With that incident, I really feel lazy in updating and promoting my blog, my basketball blog. It was through that event that I had turned my attention to my personal blog – where I find comfort, a diary of sort. And the next thing I know, I had acquainted myself with a lot of online friends that is blogging for fun and personal fulfillment.

Then, one day, a blogger friend introduced me to blog advertising schemes where I become really hooked in to. In fact, I have been earning a regular amount quarterly (And I decided not to disclose it, he he). But, you must know that Sponsored Blogging is Not as Easy as it Seems. Anyhow, it still does not change the fact that I am blogging for fun and personal fulfillment. How about you? What’s your purpose in blogging?
